The realised curve has moved sideways since October 2025: +$11,251 on closed trades in 11 months, while the 4 open positions currently sit at +$13,454 unrealised. I would rather say so than let you find it in the chart. Over the last 12 months 91 trades closed, 40 won, 45 lost, and a flat $10,000 on each nets about +$35,691 with the open book included. Bitcoin itself moved -32% over the same days. I did not force trades to keep the line rising. When the market stops paying, the right move is fewer and smaller positions, and that is what a flat stretch looks like. The lifetime figures above are real, and so is this one. Judge the method on both.

But how much money did it actually take to make +$92,633?

Placing 185 separate $10,000 trades sounds like it would tie up $1,850,000. It doesn’t. Each $10,000 stake is freed the moment a trade closes and rolled straight into the next one, so only about 5.9 positions are open at any one time, roughly $58,808 of capital genuinely at work on average. Turning that $58,808 of working capital into the +$92,633 above is a +50% compound annual return.

That is the entire game. Trading was never about being right most of the time. It’s about the winners being bigger than the losers. The average trade here returned +4.9%. Losers get cut near -47.2%, winners get ridden as far as +100%.

Most people do the exact reverse: they snatch small wins and marry their losers. That one inversion is the difference between this ledger and theirs.

The crypto internet is wallpapered with green numbers. Almost none of them survive contact with the truth. Three tricks keep you from ever seeing the real picture:
